The First Annual Miami Dade College Night was held in January of 2018 to spotlight Miami Dade College and in particular the Miami Dade College Student Propeller Club which the Propeller Club-Port of Miami sponsored and was chartered in May of 2016. The program for this First Annual MDC Night was put together entirely by Miami Dade College Student Propeller Club members, and featured a panel discussion on “Economic Prosperity”. Panelists included: Richard DeVillers, PortMiami (Sr. Exec. Assistant to the Director); Barbara Pimentel, Executive Vice President of the Florida Customs Brokers and Forwarders (FCBF); Greg Chin, Communications Director, Miami Dade County Aviation Department; and John Wensveen, Miami Dade College (Vice Provost for Academic Schools). This inaugural event proved to be most successful with (78) total attendees.
