Our Annual Coast Guard Night is one of our longest-running and most popular events on our calendar, and Coast Guard Night 2018, held on Thursday, October 4, proved to be no exception. In fact, with a total of (125) attendees, this year’s event had the highest attendance for a Coast Guard Night for at least the past ten years, and was wonderfully supported by (7) Sponsors. Hosted as usual by the US Coast Guard at itsSector Miami Base off the MacArthur Causeway near Miami Beach, the extended Cocktail Hour was held outside in the Tiki Bar area and offered guided tours of one of the Coast Guard’s new Fast Response Cutters. Following a superb dinner served by our regular caterer, Sidewalk Salads, the evening’s program, presented by Captain of the Port Megan Dean, spotlighted the many services provided by Sector Miami to the local maritime community. Coast Guard Night 2018 was another first rate event co-hosted by USCG Sector Miami.
