Please join us on Thursday, March 28, for UM Night 2024, one of our signature events, which returns after a 5-year hiatus due to the pandemic and its impacts

The menu features Florida stone crabs (1-lb. medium claws per person), hash brown potatoes, creamed spinach, Provolone tomatoes, and key lime pie – plus a complimentary glass of beer or wine during the Cocktail Hour (beer and wine only)thanks to Aaron Freedman, Manager of SALT.

UM Night 2024 will again be held at our usual venue of SALT Waterfront Restaurant on UM’s RSMAS Campus on Virginia Key, which features panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and a covered outdoor terrace.

PLEASE NOTE THIS YEAR’S CAPACITY IS CAPPED AT 100.

Free parking is available in the parking lot near SALT and in the parking garage to the left of the front entrance to RSMAS.

The program is “Climate Action and Cruising” presented by Morgan McCall, Director of Energy Conservation for NCL, and a graduate of the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences. Morgan will relate her experiences as a UM graduate student and as a Member of
the UM Student Propeller Club, and then talk about the climate-related actions taking place in the cruise industry.
