The Propeller Club – Port of Miami and the Miami DadeCollege Student Propeller Club are pleased to announcethe Third Annual Miami Dade College Night will be heldThursday, January 30, 2020, at Miami Dade College’sdowntown Wolfson Campus. Our Co-Host will again bethe Florida Custom Brokers and Forwarders (FCBF).We want to especially thank this year’s sponsors: WTDCand the Miguel B. Fernandez Family School of GlobalBusiness, Trade and Transportation (GOLD); and POMTOC(Port Of Miami Terminal Operating Company), Dr. EdBaker, Southeast Insurance Group, Farovi Shipping Group and the Saldana Family Foundation (SILVER). This event has been planned and organized by the MIAMIDADE COLLEGE STUDENT PROPELLER CLUB whose members are majoring in Supply Chain Management at the MDC Kendall Campus.
The theme for this year’s event is “ANCHORING GLOBALTRADE WITHIN SOUTH FLORIDA” and features a Panel of Experts to discuss this topic. The Moderator will be GaryGoldfarb, Chief Strategy Officer at the Interport Groupof Companies, and Panelists include Eric Mintz, the South Florida Area Representative for the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC); Michael Loffredo, District Manager at Fastenal; and Jennifer Diaz, Esq., Diaz Trade Law, P.A., a customs and international law expert.
This year’s event will again start with a networking CocktailHour (beer and wine only – CASH BAR) with passed hors d’oeuvres; then a delicious buffet dinner; followed by the Panel Discussion; the Scholarship Awards; and the evening will end with our 50/50 Raffle.
NOTE – 80% OF THE PROCEEDS FROM OUR THIRDANNUAL MIAMI DADE COLLEGE NIGHT WILL GO TO SUPPORT THE MIAMI DADE COLLEGE STUDENTPROPELLER CLUB’S MEMBERS AND ACTIVITIES.
